MPA alumna Brandy Reitter ’08 was selected by the Eagle town board to fill its vacant town manager position. The board voted unanimously for Reitter in a special session Monday evening, Dec. 18, 2017, and hope to have her on the job by early January.
Reitter’s previous experience includes time in Washington, D.C., as a capital budget director and program analyst, followed by a stint as chief of staff for the Department of Small and Local Business Development. She was operations director for Doug Linkhart’s mayoral campaign, and a utilities financial analyst for Longmont. Since 2012 she has served as town administrator in Gilcrest and in Buena Vista. She is currently interim town administrator in Saguache.
