The mission of the MPA Student Association (MPASA) is to create opportunities for MPA students to engage with one another to share knowledge, experiences and insight. We seek to establish a community of students who support each other in their pursuit of academic and personal development.

Pizza and Professors Discussion: Navigating Emergency and Environmental Management as a Public Affairs Professional

Wondering how public affairs classroom knowledge goes to work in the real world? With an eye toward current events, Drs. Deserai Crow and Tanya Heikkila talk about what it’s like to navigate the waters of emergency and environmental management as a public affairs professional. MPASA faculty advisor Dr. Medina facilitates this engaging conversation. Get to know these SPA professors and hear first-hand stories of their specialties over pizza and casual panel discussion.
