1. Western Campaign Manager – NRDC
The NRDC is hiring an experienced campaign manager to join the team in Washington, D.C. The campaign manager will develop & implement advocacy tactics to influence federal and state policymakers in western states (emphasis on Colorado, Nevada, and Montana). 2. Office of Emergency Management Internship

3. Siegel Public Affairs – Advocacy Associate

4. Commuter Services Graduate Assistant – Dean of Students Office
$15.00 per hour! The Graduate Assistant for Commuter Services is responsible for providing commuter resources to students living off-campus. This position also plays a role in building relationships with New Student Orientation, Student Activities, and commuting resources. 5. Colorado Department of Transportation
They are seeking applications for a paid internship ($14-$19 hour). The Part-Time Planning Support Intern will support the Office of Cash Management. The office helps develop and manages the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which is the planning document that identifies the transportation projects CDOT intends to fund over a six-year period. Major duties and responsibilities include: Provide processing support to the STIP group; Prepare memorandums related to STIP policy and amendments; Track and route documents for review and approval; Update existing process documentation to help ensure desk procedures are current. 1. Alliance for Sustainable Colorado Event
Moving Forward: Beyond Paris — August 21
Congresswoman Diana DeGette will moderate a panel discussion focusing on federal and local climate action as it relates to the U.S. Climate Alliance. We will explore how other states and countries are working to ensure that greenhouse gas reduction goals are met, and what you can do to get involved. 2. Colorado Center on Law and Policy
They are hosting the annual Pathways from Poverty Breakfast in downtown Denver (Embassy Suites – Downtown Convention Center) and will be offering a discounted student ticket rate. School name and ID must be provided to get the student rate. This year’s keynote speaker is UC Berkeley Professor Ian Haney Lopez, author of Dog Whistle Politics, a very compelling and relevant book given the political atmosphere which we are experiencing. 3. National Council for Public-Private Partnerships P3Bootcamp
Scheduled for next week! August 8-9, Denver Conference Center (1801 California Street). This intensive day-and-a-half learning session will teach public- and private-sector leaders how partnerships work and the proven strategies for assembling successful projects.
