If you have questions or concerns about how online courses work, be sure to check out these resources from CU Online. They have a list of the 13 advantages that come with online learning, as well as a list of 14 myths about online education (for example: no, you don’t have to be super tech savvy).
You can even see what online courses actually look like — including one of our criminal justice courses — by visiting their sample course page. The sample online courses will give you a better idea of what to expect.
All of our online courses are taught by the same top-notch faculty as our in-person courses. And we’re not newcomers to online education: our Master of Public Administration degree has been offered online for 15 years, making the CU Denver School of Public Affairs an early innovator in online education.
We offer four degree programs that can be completed entirely online:
- Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice
- Master of Criminal Justice
- Bachelor of Arts in Public Service
- Master of Public Administration
All of our programs have accessible tuition that make a degree from a top-ranked public affairs school attainable. You simply won’t find a better educational value from any other public affairs or criminal justice program in Colorado.
If you’re considered a non-resident student and are living outside the state of Colorado, there’s a financial advantage to taking all of your CU Denver courses online. You pay the discounted rate of 120 percent of the resident rate for a course, which is significantly lower than the non-resident tuition amount.
