Alum Jeff Baker Elected to Arapahoe County Board

Photo of Jeff BakerMaster of Public Administration alum Jeff Baker (’97) was elected to the position of Arapahoe County Commissioner in District 3 (Eastern Arapahoe County) in the Nov. 2016 general election. Congratulations Jeff!

Jeff is a Denver native who has lived in Arapahoe county for 24 years.  He is a retired U.S. Army military police officer and is currently the Arapahoe County Manager of Facility and Property Operations. Jeff’s career in county government — he received a local government concentration as part of his MPA — includes working in human services.  He also teaches crime scene investigation at the Community College of Aurora Police Academy.

Jeff will be sworn into office on Jan. 9, 2017, and will take office on Jan. 10. He invites SPA faculty and fellow alums to the swearing-in ceremony (invitation).
