3. Research and Committee Staff Person Job, Colorado Legislative Council Staff
They are seeking SPA grad students to apply for a full-time Research and Committee Staff Person. The posted deadline is Nov. 21 but you are encouraged to apply early. 4. Paid Internship, Education Policy
America Succeeds is seeking 1-2 SPA graduate students for a paid fellowship for the winter-spring months, 15-20 hours a week. America Succeeds is a network of non-partisan, business-led, policy and advocacy organizations that offer an informed and credible “business voice for education” in each state. 5. Paid Internship, Nonprofit & Local Government
Alameda Gateway Community Association is seeking SPA graduate students for a paid internship. The intern will work on social media, marketing and public outreach by leveraging social media and targeted email campaigns to constituents. 10-12 hours a week for 8 weeks. $800 stipend. 6. Paid Internship, Nonprofit, Arts. Summer in Breck!
Gain experience in nonprofit development. Housing and a weekly grocery stipend are included. The National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) is a nonprofit located Breckenridge. Each winter they audition over 1,000 musicians from across the United States. Only 88 of are chosen to attend the NRO that summer where they’ll perform, work with guest conductors, and engage in community outreach events. Click here to view internship details. 7. Internship, Legislative Session
House District 6 Representative-elect Chris Hansen, is seeking interns for the next legislative session. 4-6 hours a week from January – May. Office space is available. Flexible hours. You don’t need prior experience. Interns will research, write, and play a role with constituents at the capital during the session. 8. Internship, Public Health Policy and Advocacy
Colorado Academy of Family Physicians (CAFP) is seeking SPA grad students interested in public health to fill an unpaid internship position. Excellent networking and skill building opportunity! 9. Internship or Possible Capstone — Victim Advocacy
The 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Victim Advocacy Services is seeking SPA grad students to assist with program and services evaluation. Determine where efficiency can be gained in delivering services while considering staff capacities, and offer recommendations for resource allocations based on priorities. Interested? Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is currently looking for a Public Affairs Intern for next semester. Position runs from January through June 2017. Assist the Public Affairs department with the daily activities coordinating Colorado General Assembly vote tracking projects; planning and coordinating meetings and special events.
