Lonnie Schaible on DPD and Data Collection

Associate Professor Lonnie Schaible was quoted in the Denver Post story “Denver police chief changes mind, says the department will begin collecting racial data on traffic, pedestrian stops” that ran on Aug. 7, 2016. “A classic issue with police analyzing police is a lack of trust,” Schaible said. It’s also wise to create a committee with diverse voices to determine what questions need to be answered and how to collect data that would answer those questions, he said.
