The American Society of Public Administration annual conference drew more than 1,200 attendees to Seattle on March 17-22, 2016. SPA Ph.D. candidate Sean McCandless further distinguished himself at the conference.
Sean was previously awarded an ASPA Founders Fellowship to attend this year’s conference. At the conclusion of the conference, Sean was named the 2016 “Super Fellow” winner, an award presented to the year’s outstanding Founders Fellow based upon observations and a vote by the selection committee.
As the Super Fellow award winner, Sean is automatically invited to the 2017 ASPA conference in Atlanta. His registration fee and hotel costs are covered, and he is invited to chair a research panel at the conference.
Congratulations Sean! And congratulations to Professor Mary Guy for supporting and mentoring Sean in these important activities!
