Congratulations to Ph.D. candidate Sean McCandless, who was selected as one of the 2016 Founders Fellows by the American Society for Public Administration!
According to the ASPA website:
Founders’ Fellowships recognize outstanding students and new professionals in the field. Following a competitive review process, the Founders’ Fellows are selected to present their scholarship during the ASPA conference. They receive substantial professional development and networking opportunities, including mentoring by a seasoned scholar or practitioner.
The program supports participation of 25 students at the Annual Conference and their development as future public administrators. Fellows receive complimentary registration to the Annual Conference, complimentary special event tickets and complimentary board at the conference hotel.
The 2016 ASPA annual conference takes place March 18-22 in Seattle.
Sean joins SPA student Samantha (Sam) Larson as an ASPA Founders Fellow. Sam was one of the 25 winners in 2015.
