Johanna Jamison Awarded Buechner Institute Local Government Student Fellowship

Buechner Institute logoMPA student Johanna Jamison was selected as the recipient of the second Buechner Institute Local Government Student Fellowship.

Assistant Professor and Center for Local Government Director Benoy Jacob put together this innovative fellowship. It is supported financially by the Colorado Municipal League, the Colorado Department of Local Affairs and the Buechner Institute for Governance.

The fellowship provides a stipend to allow the recipient to engage in applied policy research that is relevant to Colorado’s local governments. One of this year’s projects is to conduct in-depth case studies of the fiscal conditions of a few of Colorado’s municipalities.

Congratulations to Johanna, and to Benoy, for this important collaborative work!
